Make your Rubber Tracks Last Longer!

To get the most out of your Rubber Tracks you must treat them with care. We recommend the following guidelines to maximise the lifetime of your track.

Maintain and monitor the correct tension on your tracks at all times. Ask us for advice or check with your machine's manufacturer for correct settings.

Ensure the undercarriage components (e.g. sprocket, rollers and idler) are in good working order. Damaged undercarriage components can affect rubber track performance & durability. If need be, we can provide new components for your machine.

Avoid working environments such as rocky terrain, gravel, concrete demolition and metal debris which cause damage to rubber tracks.

Careful operation is essential. Travel with both tracks on a level surface. Avoid striking concrete curbs or walls with the sides of the rubber track. Drive up or down a slope instead of traversing. Avoid making spin or pivot turns. Alternate turning from one side to another .

Avoid exposure to contaminants such as salt or oil. If these get on the tracks, then clean the tracks immediately.

Maintain clean drive components thus avoiding damage from foreign substances or mud.

Minimise exposure to the sun, this helps to reduce the aging process. Normal operating temperature range is between -25c to +55c. Store indoors if unused for long periods.
